Who’s this?

I’m Alex and I live in Central Massachusetts in a small but vibrant city. I’m in my late twenties and I’ve been a lot of things in my life; including an account executive at a major New England media company, a sex educator/sex toy salesperson, a freelance art consultant, a Teamster, an anti-tobacco lobbyist, and, currently, a case manager for women dealing with addiction. I was raised a conservative charismatic Christian who was a member of a Christian-influenced cult for a short time and this informs a lot of who I am today. I’ve been active in neopaganism for roughly eleven years and am currently a member of a small, electic pagan church in my area. I currently consider myself spiritual, not religious.

My interests in paganism and spirituality in general are wide and quite varied. I do not subscribe to any particular tradition, pantheon, or path and rabidly devour historical accounts of spiritual practice and theory surrounding what and why we do what we do. I am not a reconstructionist of any sort and strongly believe that individuals experience the Gods in individual ways.

Why a blog?

Why not?

The more I read, the more I desire and feel pushed to write on what influences my spiritual path and what I think about such things.

The opinions represented herein are mine and mine alone. I attribute material and opinions that are not my own.

Important note: If you do not like what you read here, you are under no obligation to read it. Nor are you expected to have any opinion on me or bother yourself with what I do as my spiritual practice, as it has little to nothing to do with you. Rest assured that when I practice or participate in ritual, I am not thinking about you no matter how cute you may be or how important you may think you or your opinions are. If you think I am wrong, it’s all good–it’ll get sorted out some day and I am happy with my possible delusions at the moment.

If you have need of private communication, I may be reached at

I post on Liminal Nation and FetLife as Needlestuck and bounce around online under various screennames.  When in doubt, ask!
